Standard Tuning

Restoring the harmonious relationship between all of the pitches on the instrument, bringing clarity and sustain to every note. A standard two-hour session ensures your instrument sings with beauty, whether you’re practicing, performing, or simply enjoying its sound.
Recommended every 6 months. Every 3 months for new pianos.

2 hours - $175

Inspection/Condition Report

Seasonal Service Appointment

Our most comprehensive service: This provides an additional hour to a standard tuning for addressing any concerns and routine maintenance, focused on small improvements with each visit. It is the most cost-effective way to maintain the instrument over time. First appointment includes a condition report, and subsequent visits may include cleaning, repairs, lubrication, regulation, or voicing. Recommended every 6 months, especially for high-use/high-value pianos, and advanced pianists.

3 hours - $250

Pitch Correction

Stabilizes your piano’s overall tension if it’s far out of tune, preparing it for a fine tuning that restores maximum clarity and stability.
REQUIRED if a piano has not been tuned in several years.

1 hour - $75

Regulation

Regulation adjusts the piano’s action everything from key to hammer) so the touch is even, responsive, and predictable. Properly regulated actions allow pianists to control dynamics and articulation more easily and precisely.
Recommended every 5-10 years. More often for high-use/high-value pianos and advanced pianists.

$125 per hour

Hammer Reshaping & Voicing

As a piano is played, the soft felt hammers become grooved from hitting the hard steel strings. Reshaping removes these grooves and returns the hammer to a smooth, rounded shape, restoring clarity to the sound. After reshaping, some brief voicing is needed to even out the sound of the new felt surface.
Recommended every 5-10 years. More often for high-use/high-value pianos and advanced pianists.

$1 hour - $125

Voicing

Voicing adjusts the sound of the piano’s hammers to achieve more sustain and tone variety, and consistency. This is customized to each piano, room, and player. If the hammers sound very harsh, or lack power, or are generally unpleasant to listen to, voicing is the solution.
Recommended every 5-10 years. More often for high-use/high-value pianos and advanced pianists.

$125 per hour
